TERMS OF SERVICE
Clear terms for using RouteRanch.
Effective August 14, 2026
By creating an account or using RouteRanch, you confirm that you are at least 18, authorized to act for the business you represent, and agree to these terms.
Your account and authorized users
Use an email address you own or are authorized to use. Protect account credentials and devices, assign only the access each person needs, promptly remove access that is no longer appropriate, and report suspected unauthorized access. The company owner is responsible for users and activity authorized through its workspace.
Your records and lawful use
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriate use of records, prices, reports, customer information, employee or contractor information, images, and operational decisions entered into RouteRanch. You must have authority to upload and process that information and must provide notices or obtain permissions required by employment, privacy, biometric, surveillance, transportation, or other applicable law. Do not upload unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, infringing, or malicious material.
Driving and operational safety
Do not type, upload tickets, review reports, or otherwise interact with RouteRanch while driving or operating equipment. Stop in a lawful and safe location first. Dispatch information, map links, location pins, truck status, maintenance notes, weights, mileage, and hours must be independently checked by qualified personnel. The driver and motor carrier remain responsible for vehicle condition, loading, securement, routing, licensing, inspections, maintenance, hours of service, and all safety and regulatory decisions.
Not an ELD or official logbook
RouteRanch driver reports are operational records only. RouteRanch is not represented as an FMCSA-registered electronic logging device, automatic on-board recording device, official driver record of duty status, certified scale system, vehicle diagnostic system, or substitute for records required by the Texas Department of Public Safety, FMCSA, or another regulator. A company must maintain any separately required ELD, duty-status, inspection, maintenance, ticket, tax, payroll, and regulatory records.
Vehicle inspections and safety records
Pre-trip and post-trip tools support company recordkeeping based on common federal requirements, including 49 CFR §§ 392.7, 396.11, and 396.13. Texas fleet dates and checklist items are reminders only. They do not determine whether a vehicle is safe, replace driver or motor-carrier judgment, a qualified inspection, the Texas annual commercial inspection, an ELD, roadside requirements, maintenance programs, or state- and operation-specific rules. Drivers and motor carriers remain responsible for inspecting equipment, correcting safety defects, placing unsafe equipment out of service, retaining legally required records, and following current federal, state, contract, and company requirements. Checklist templates are operational aids and may need company-specific additions. See the Texas Compliance Center.
Artificial intelligence and human review
RouteRanch currently does not make AI-based employment, safety, dispatch, pricing, or eligibility decisions. If an AI-assisted feature is later offered, it will be identified as AI-assisted and its output must be independently reviewed by an authorized human before action. Users may not use RouteRanch or exported data to unlawfully discriminate, infer protected characteristics, manipulate a person, create deceptive content, or make a legally significant decision without appropriate human review. See the AI & Safety Notice.
No professional advice
RouteRanch is an organizational tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, insurance, employment, safety, mechanical, dispatch, transportation-regulatory, or other professional advice. Reports and calculations depend on user-entered information and should be independently verified.
Billing and trials
Trials, subscriptions, renewals, cancellation, and payment are governed by the plan and checkout terms shown during enrollment. Cancel before a trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Applicable consumer rights and non-waivable legal protections remain in effect.
Availability, exports, and changes
We work to keep RouteRanch available and reliable, but it may be updated, maintained, interrupted, or changed. Keep independent copies of business-critical and legally required records. Material changes to these terms will be posted with a revised effective date and, when legally required, additional notice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RouteRanch is provided “as is” and “as available.” RouteRanch is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-loss damages arising from the service. Nothing here limits a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
